Student of Architecture (AA-25) >
McBride Charles Ryan (MCR) is seeking full-time Student of Architecture for the year of 2025. This role provides recent graduates from a Bachelor of Architecture the valuable experience of working in practice. The primary responsibilities of the role include assistance on project work, office upkeep, administration, and marketing.
In this role you will gain skills in practice management, learn about the procurement process, and acquire experience working on projects at various stages of design and documentation. For those who excel in the role, greater opportunities for project work will be provided.
Previous architectural experience is not required for the role but some key attributes and technical skills are listed below.
Attributes:
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Strong initiative and a logical intuition.
- Strong visual/graphic design skills.
- Great ability to work collaboratively.
- Competent verbal and written communication skills.
- Competent architectural/spatial design skills.
- Good understanding of basic construction principles.

Architecture / Graduate of Architecture (AG-25) >
MCR is seeking a full-time Architect or Graduate of Architecture to join our team. This role provides experienced Graduates of Architecture or emerging Architects with design mentorship, documentation experience and an opportunity to work on large multiple residential or educational projects. You are expected to have over 2 years’ experience as a Graduate of Architecture and have a strong understanding of design, documentation and construction knowledge.
In this role, you will be a core member of a project team delivering a project through the various stages of design, documentation and construction. You will be expected to collaborate closely with your project team and directors. For those who excel in the role, opportunities for greater autonomy and leadership will be provided.
